As part of our Green Schools Flag work, the children carried out a survey to find out how pupils and staff travel to school each day. This linked with their learning about data in Maths, as they created pictograms to display the results.
We discovered that 66 people travel by car, 45 by bus, only 2 walk to school and no one currently cycles.
This led to interesting discussions about active travel and when it might be safe to begin walking or cycling to school.
