It has been a busy week for our Cumann na mBunscol teams.
On Monday our camogie girls put in some great performances to qualify for the semi finals.
On Tuesday the girls headed for Aughrim to play the semi final of the football. They battled hard but unfortunately were beaten by a very strong Ballymacward side.
On Wednesday, it was the boys turn. They headed for Caltra to play the group games of the football. The boys showed some great skill to win their first two games and the last group game of the day was against local rivals Aughrim. It was a very exciting game that resulted in extra time and then penalties, where our boys were victorious. They progress to the quarter finals next Tuesday.
On Friday, our boys team were out again, this time in the Hurling. They headed for Killimordaly to play the group stages. They came out on top and will proceed to the semifinal stage.
A successful week all round in Cappy. Well done to all involved!
