Our Golden Mile Historic Walk
A huge thank you to all on the Golden Mile Committee who took 3rd and 4th class on the walk and educated us all on the area. We had a great time and were thrilled with the surprise picnic afterwards. A huge effort went into it and it is very much appreciated. Ms. Kerrigan

Our Class Experiment: What do seeds need to grow?
We checked our cress a week later on the 8th of October and look what we discovered......... Ms. Kerrigan
Lots of happy faces and lots of growth with the lucky tray. A small bit of growth with the pots that had no heat.

No water resulted in no growth :(
Look at that growth in the tray which was watered and left at the window. We even discovered PHOTOTROPISM.
Our Class Experiment: What do seeds need to grow?
On Thursday, the 1st of October we planted some cress seeds in various pots. We put some pots in the dark, some pots in a cold area and we didn't water the seeds in other pots. The tray of pots were the lucky ones who got everything. A nice, moist, warm environment on the window sill with plenty of light. Stay tuned to see what happens!!!! Ms. Kerrigan
